Balance Technology Group

In addition to my freelance work, I also work for Balance Technology Group as the Senior Technical Lead. In this role, I work on Website Designs, Website Development, Flash Development, Audio & Video Production, Web-based Training and Search Engine Optimization. Clients range from small businesses to some of the largest non-profit organizations. Below are a few examples of work completed by me through Balance.
Best Western Grand Venice Hotel

The Grand Venice Hotel in Hagerstown, MD needed to redesign it's Website to comply with new marketing standards introduced by Best Western. I set them up with a custom template-driven Website that is easily updated by hotel staff using industry standard Contribute Web editing software. Elements of the site were also coded to interact directly with Best Western's booking system to help visitors quickly find and reserve rooms.
Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum

Working with Power Warner Communications, I helped the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum to redesign their Website from the ground up. Their goal was to create a site that was fun for kids, yet easily accessible to adults. By using Flash and carefully organizing information within the site, we achieved those goals.
American Defense International

Working with Concepts PR, I redesigned the American Defense International Website, which included graphic design and some Flash development. The pages were designed, again, to work easily with Adobe Contribute Web editing software which allows ADI staff members to maintain the Website themselves.
The Smile Design Centre

Here at Con-Centric, I specialize in guiding smaller organizations through the process of building a Web presence from the ground up. Dr. McAllister knew that he wanted to be on the Web, but he didn't know how to get there. I helped Dr. McAllister plan the features, structure and organization of his Website and then designed pages that fell in line perfectly with the printed material his patients are accustomed to. Dr. McAllister's practice has a distinct personality.

Customized Web- and Computer-Based Training

Con-centric can develop customized e-learning solutions for your specific business need that that are deliverable via the Web or CD-ROM. Students can follow screen action while listening to voice narration and reading text-based cues. Interactive options allow you to test students comprehension through quizzes and software simulations.

Song Sling

If the audience you are trying to reach is media savvy, then you really need to catch their attention from moment one. There's no better way to do that than with an animated Flash Intro to draw visitors in.
